Whistleblowing Policy

Introduction

At Conway Cladding Ltd, we are committed to the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and transparency in all aspects of our operations. We encourage all employees, contractors, and site workers to speak up if they have concerns about any malpractice, misconduct, or unlawful activities within the company. This policy provides guidance on how to raise concerns and the process for investigating them.

Scope

This whistleblowing policy applies to all employees, contractors, site workers, and third parties associated with Conway Cladding Ltd. It covers concerns that may relate to but are not limited to:

  • Health and safety violations
  • Environmental harm
  • Fraud, bribery, or corruption
  • Unethical conduct
  • Any illegal activity
  • Any other activity that could damage the reputation of the company

How to Report a Concern

If you suspect any wrongdoing or malpractice, you are encouraged to report your concerns through the following steps:

  1. Visit www.conwaycladdingltd.com/site-worker.
  1. Complete the Whistleblowing Form provided on the website. You may choose to:
  • Leave your name and contact details.
  • Submit the form anonymously.

Confidentiality

All concerns raised will be treated with strict confidentiality. If you choose to leave your contact details, your identity will only be disclosed if required by law or if necessary for a thorough investigation. If you report anonymously, we will ensure the same level of investigation, but please be aware that anonymity may limit our ability to seek additional information from you.

Protection Against Retaliation

Conway Cladding Ltd ensures that no individual who raises a legitimate concern in good faith will suffer any form of retaliation, harassment, or victimization. Any employee or contractor found to be engaging in such behavior against a whistleblower will face disciplinary action, which may include dismissal.

Investigation Process

All concerns raised through the whistleblowing process will be directed to the company’s Director, Joseph Conway, who will oversee the investigation. The investigation process will typically involve:

  1. A preliminary review to assess the nature of the concern and the potential risk.
  1. A full investigation if warranted, which may include interviews, document review, and discussions with relevant personnel.
  1. A report outlining the findings and any corrective action that needs to be taken.

You will be kept informed about the progress and the outcome of the investigation, provided that you leave contact information and doing so does not compromise the confidentiality of others or the investigation.

False Reports

Any employee found to have intentionally raised a false concern or used the whistleblowing process maliciously will face disciplinary action. This policy is in place to protect those with legitimate concerns, and misuse of it will not be tolerated.

Conclusion

We encourage all staff and contractors to feel comfortable raising any concerns in line with this policy. Conway Cladding Ltd values its reputation and the safety of its workforce and strives to maintain a transparent and ethical working environment.
